The building that now houses Headrow House originally operated as a textile manufactory, constructed in the early 20th century in one of the old yards in Leeds city centre. Over the decades, it served various purposes: initially as a factory, later as a penny arcade, a shop, and then as nightclubs including Big Lil\u2019s Saloon Bar and Spooks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, the building fell into disrepair. However, in 2015, the team behind Belgrave Music Hall, in collaboration with food enthusiast Ben Davy, undertook a major restoration project. The transformation included over 1,000 square metres of space, with many original features \u2014 exposed brick walls, spiral staircases, large industrial windows and skylights \u2014 carefully restored to highlight the building\u2019s historical charm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening of Headrow House<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After extensive renovation, Headrow House officially opened in October 2015. It was introduced as a modern, multi-purpose venue featuring the Ox Club restaurant, two traditional bars, several rooftop terraces, a 150-capacity live event space, and a creative infrastructure suitable for events of all kinds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Headrow House is one of the city\u2019s most dynamic cultural spaces, hosting concerts, festivals, art exhibitions, and gastronomic events. Since opening, it has staged between 150 and 200 live performances and events every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over time, Headrow House has grown into more than just a concert venue. It\u2019s a social and creative hub where fans of indie, jazz, electronic, and rock music come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Themed Events and Cultural Highlights at Headrow House<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Headrow House regularly hosts a diverse range of live concerts and cultural events, featuring both local and international artists. Some of the performers include Cliffords, Ultra Sunn, Loving, Chuck Strangers, Deep Sea Diver, and Weatherday. In addition to music, the venue also holds themed parties and rooftop events such as the Amplify Rooftop Party, Inner Rhythm Rooftop Party, Fetisch!, and T\u00ebchnik All Night Long.
